Main Idea

The project "Escuela para el Arte y Cultura del Departamento de Nariño" is proposed as an urban renewal intervention addressing the deterioration of the patrimonial center of the city of Pasto. The project is located in front of the Teatro Imperial, one of the city’s main cultural landmarks, currently surrounded by buildings built in the early 20th century, which are in a state of abandonment or significant deterioration. The proposal seeks to revitalize this area through the creation of a space dedicated to the promotion, education, and dissemination of Nariño’s cultural heritage, contributing to the cultural and urban reactivation of the surrounding context.
